Post-holders are the voting members of our Committee.

Post-holders vote on officers, state committee members, and other Committee business.

Regular post-holder elections take place within 45 days of the general primary in even-numbered years. When there are vacancies, applicants may fill vacancies at each County Committee meeting. There are currently vacancies in all commission districts.

In order to fill a vacancy to become a post-holder, you must first attend a meeting and nominate yourself for membership. Then you must attend a second meeting to be voted in as a post-holder by the whole committee.

Those wishing to become a post-holder must be a registered voter of Richmond County, you must also fill out the following application prior to a vote on your membership.
